Christmas covered strawberries!

I'm headed to a Christmas potluck and I am bringing the dessert!  I made some chocolate covered strawberries that look like Santa hats and Christmas trees.  It's so easy, hope you can try it!

all you need to get started: strawberries, food coloring, white chocolate and sprinkles.

Do they need to be put in the freezer for the chocolate to set?

Not for me. It might be the chocolate and type of food coloring I used but it hardened pretty fast without any cooling. I did work in an air-conditioned room because I live in Singapore where its 30 degrees Celsius all year round :) I also kept it in the fridge until the party.

I can't seem to see the instructions on how to do the santa hats (although I'm sure it's pretty self explanatory!) - please could you repost? Many thanks!!

Hi! I'm so sorry for the late reply. My blog has moved to a new address so I rarely come here. The same post is available from the link below. Please let me know if you still have problems viewing the santa hat instructions.
